I see beauty in everything around us. The goal of my photography is to capture what most people look once at and dismiss. I try to take time to look twice at my subjects and to capture the beauty that lies within what we see everyday.

Photography is my passion and it began after a life changing experience. At 16 I was diagnosed with two brain tumors, and the whole cancer experience taught me the most valuable lesson of my life…to appreciate what I have in my life right here, right now. As a Cancer Survivor I have committed myself to searching for beauty in my surroundings and translate that to my photography.

I picked up a camera soon after my recovery from cancer and taught myself how to use it through trial and error. I do not claim to know everything about the art of taking pictures, but I continue to learn everyday. I only hope that the people who see my photos can see my passion for the continuing search for the beauty that surrounds us.
