Hi I’m Eric Von Lehmden.  Photography is my passion.  It has been for a long time now.  I always knew that I saw the world differently than most people.  I remember grabbing my Mom and Dad’s little point and shoot and just sitting in the back seat of the car on road trips just looking through the viewfinder and seeing the world through that little rectangle.  Well I really didn’t pick up a camera again until college.  Taking photography as an elective my senior year at Texas A&M and just absolutely fell in love.  I have been photographing professionally since 2000 when I moved to Austin from San Antonio.

Photography is not only my livelihood but also my creative outlet…and sometimes those two lines blur into one.  I love going above and beyond to search for that light or that angle or shot that possibly hasn’t been thought of or even considered.  I find myself always looking at my surroundings and saying, “That would be a great place for a photo shoot.” or, “How would I make this place look interesting.”.

I am married to the most beautiful girl in the world, Kim.  I have a fairly large family, 2 older sisters and a younger brother, and there are now 6 nieces and nephews in the mix too.  I was the middle child growing up which gave me a ton of patience and a laid back approach to life which lends itself great to being a photographer.  Well, I hope you enjoy the photos and give me a shout if you want to learn more.
